Fact:
Honeybees use any of several incredible methods of communication to share information about nearby sources of food, pollen, and water with their hive mates. One of these methods is called the “Waggle Dance”. As the name implies, a forager bee gains the attention of other bees, and then ‘waggles’ her body in a pattern that relays to other bees the general distance and direction to nearby resources.
